BackMarket leader Coop takes over Jumbo
In Switzerland, the Coop trading group is taking over the DIY store chain Jumbo from Maus Frères SA. Approval from the cartel authorities is still pending. Jumbo currently has 40 outlets. The branch network perfectly complements the Coop group, a press release states. With 73 stores, the DIY sales channel Coop Bau + Hobby is market leader in Switzerland while Jumbo had been at place two until now.
