Leroy Merlin's customers can offer and submit their used equipment through a platform, and the company offers a price.

The French DIY store chain Leroy Merlin has entered the business of used DIY equipment. Customers can offer and submit their used equipment through a platform which can be reached using its app or online shop www.leroymerlin.fr. The company offers a price which it pays out in the form of a purchase voucher. The equipment can be sent free of charge. The French market leader has it refurbished by the Cordon Group which is specialised in such work. The used equipment will then be on sale from the end of 2021. Drills, hammer drills and cordless screwdrivers will be the bestsellers, Leroy Merlin expects.
