Hornbach places new corporate bond

On 17 October, Hornbach Baumarkt AG placed a corporate bond with a volume of EUR 250 million and a tenor of seven years (ISIN DE000A255DH9). With a coupon of 3.250% p.a. and an issue price of 99.232%, the yield of the bond, issued in EUR 100 000 denominations, is 3.375% p.a. The issue was oversubscribed several times due to high demand from institutional investors. The proceeds from the bond issue are expected to be used in particular for refinancing the company's old bond (ISIN DE000A1R02E0), which runs until February 2020.
