HomePro reports growth of 3.5 per cent

The Thai home improvement store chain HomePro increased its sales in the first quarter 2020 by 3.48 per cent to THB 15.05241 bn (EUR 397 mio). The temporary closure of three stores have had only a marginal impac to overall sales of less than 1 per cent, according to the retailer. At the end of the first quarter,there were 86 HomePro stores, nine HomePro S stores, 14 MegaHome stores and six HomePro Malaysia stores.

Sales for the online channel as well as some regions of HomePro and Mega Home have improved compared to the fourth quarter, although sales in tourism dominated provinces are still significantly affected by the Covid-19 situation, the company says. Due to the pandemic, the HomePro had to accept a drop in sales for the first time in the year 2020.
