The Australian DIY market leader Bunnings recorded a turnover of AUD 20.399 bn (EUR 12.619 bn) in the 2025/2026 financial year (ending 30 June 2026). This represents an increase of 4.0 per cent, or 3.7 per cent on a like-for-like basis. These results were published by the parent company, Wesfarmers, in its annual report. According to the figures, both the consumer and professional segments contributed equally to this growth.
The chain’s digital activities accounted for 7.6 per cent of total turnover. Bunnings highlights its investments in this business area, including the AI-powered shopping and DIY assistant ‘Buddy’.
The company has also expanded its retail media activities under the name ‘Hammer Media’. A total of 580 screens have now been installed across just under 250 stores.
