Taiwanese hardware trade fair TiTE x IHT has launched its "Global Buyer Invitation Program," targeting international brand owners, major retail chains, import distributors, dealers, and corporate procurement representatives with clear sourcing demands to visit Taiwan for exhibitions and business negotiations.
Co-organized by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THTMA) and Lanza International Co., Ltd., the 2026 Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo x International Hardware Expo Taiwan (TiTE x IHT) will take place from October 20 to 22 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC). Under the central theme "From Manufacturing to Co-Creation," the expo focuses on smart manufacturing, AI applications, net-zero transition, and cross-border joint development. The organisers expect over 500 exhibitors and more than 1,000 booths.
In March this year, TiTE x IHT kicked off its overseas promotion campaign at Eisenwarenmesse - International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Germany. Executed by the Taiwanese government’s economic development agency TAITRA under the commission of the International Trade Administration (TIDA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Taiwan Flagship Showcase" made its grand debut to present the industrial capabilities of Taiwan’s hand tools, fasteners, and related sectors. Through immersive displays, buyer tours, product launches, and networking, it showcased Taiwan manufacturing's innovative strength and supply resilience to global markets, attracting over 2,000 buyer visits. In June, the Lanza International project team traveled to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to participate in the Global DIY-Summit.
Aligning with the Autumn Canton Fair in China, TiTE x IHT has planned the "International Buyer Golden Sourcing Week." It invites overseas buyers visiting Asia to integrate Taichung into their itinerary, offering accommodation subsidies, business matchmaking, and industrial visits.
Leveraging Central Taiwan’s high-density industrial clusters across hardware, hand tools, precision machinery, metal processing, and fasteners, the expo promotes an "Exhibition as Factory/Front-Showroom, Back-Factory" sourcing model. International buyers can compare products, confirm specifications, and negotiate agreements on the exhibition floor, then travel to nearby factories within minutes to inspect manufacturing processes, quality control, and production capacities.
Currently, booth reservations have exceeded 80 per cent, while international buyer invitations and accommodation subsidy applications are actively underway, the organisers say.
