The German DIY retailer Globus Baumarkt is restructuring its senior management board. Paulo Kadilar (62) will become CEO (spokesman for the management board) on 1 October 2026. At the same time, Joachim Hoffmann (59) is joining from German DIY market leader Bauhaus and, as a member of the management board, will be responsible for the purchasing division. Kadilar is joining from electronics retailer Mediamarkt Saturn. Both have previously worked at Globus Baumarkt. The company currently ranks sixth in the turnover rankings of German DIY retailers, with annual turnover most recently standing at EUR 2.03 billion.
Also remaining on the management board are Pia Frey, responsible for finance and human resources, and Gerald Neumayr, responsible for sales. Erich Huwer, who built up the company, will continue to serve as spokesman for the management board until October. He had taken on this role…
