The walking distances at this year's Spoga+Gafa will be shorter. This and more was revealed yesterday by the organisers during a press event just under four months before the trade fair, which will take place from 22 to 24 June under the motto ‘growing forward’ in the halls of Koelnmesse.

"Trade fairs have to adapt. That takes time. But we are taking the first step," announced Claudia Maurer, Director of Spoga+Gafa, at the event. An essential part of this first step is a more compact layout and a sharpening of the existing theme worlds. The new hall layout is as follows: Hall 6 will be home to the "Creation & Care" area. Hall 7 will host the BBQ and Outdoor Adventure themes. The Living area will be divided: "Living - Decoration" will be located in Hall 9, while "Living - Furniture" will be in Hall 10.2. The Garden Sourcing Hub will move to Halls 4 and 11.
