DIY stores in Italy generated sales of EUR 3.0897 bn in the first half of 2025. This was 0.9 per cent less than in the same period last year. This was reported by the Italian industry service “10 minutes DIY and Garden”, referring to the Total Store Report by Nielsen IQ and GfK. There were strong fluctuations in the second quarter. While April remained 12.3 per cent below the previous year's level, May saw an increase of 5.7 per cent and June of 2.9 per cent compared to the same months of the previous year.

The large product group bathroom and sanitary ware (13.1 per cent share of sales) lost the most in the first half of the year, down 13 per cent. Sales in the lighting segment (4.3 per cent share) and household goods (3.0 per cent share, down 11 per cent) also declined sharply.
