Fasteners and connections at Taiwan Fastener

The Taiwan International Fastener Show, or Fastener Taiwan, is one of the world's leading trade platforms for industrial fasteners. The show will be held in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, from May 3 to 5, 2023, and as an online version even from May 3 to 16.

Taiwan has been considered a stable fastener supplier for more than 70 years and one of the major global players in the industry. Nearly 90 per cent of the screws and bolts manufactured in the country are exported and German DIY stores are also among its customers. According to the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute (TIFI), the value of screws and bolts sold abroad was $6.36 bn in 2022. This places the country second in the world in terms of export volume and third in terms of value.

Fastener Taiwan reflects the importance of Taiwan. The show is considered a focal point for the international B2B fastener industry. It is where the world's leading companies meet to do business with players throughout the global supply chain. The show also provides valuable insights into the fastener industry's supply chains and trends.

The last Fastener Taiwan was held in 2018. It marked a record high with 415 exhibitors and over 1 100 booths. In 2023, the show will offer exhibitors and buyers an integrated networking platform, a full range of hybrid online and offline events, including online exhibition, global fastener forum, live on-site tours, meeting and networking.
