Toolstation has more than doubled its revenue in the last three years.

The British trade chain Toolstation increased its total revenue by 20.2 per cent to GBP 761 mio (EUR 910 mio) in 2021. Toolstation has now more than doubled its revenue in the last three years and continues to drive the expansion of the branch network in both the UK and Europe, according to the company.

In the UK, a net 70 new branches were opened during the year. The European business continues to make "encouraging progress" as brand awareness and scale build, the company says. Overall revenue grew by 35 per cent in 2021 and in Benelux, where sales were up 32 per cent, 22 more branches were opened, taking the total to 86. In France, sales grew by 61 per cent with 18 new branches opened, taking the total to 37. The new distribution centre just outside Lyon is now fully operational, which will facilitate the continued expansion of Toolstation France, according to an announcement of parent group Travis Perkins.
