Kesko gains 16 per cent in the year 2020

The Finnish Kesko group increased sales in the year 2020 by 16.2 per cent in its building and home improvement trade division, the comparable change was 7.9 per cent. Overall sales in this business field amounted to EUR 1.8458 bn. Of this, EUR 971.6 mio is attributed to the home market Finland where sales rose by 7.0 per cent. In Sweden, the sales channel K-Rauta made sales of EUR 186.1 mio and thus 13.7 per cent, the sales channel K-Bygg made 72.0 per cent more with EUR 228.4 mio. Byggmakker and Calsen Fritzøe in Norway increased sales by 16.2 per cent to EUR 386.9 mio.
The Kesko Senukai Group made EUR 921.7 mio with its activities in the Baltic States as well as in Belarus and thus 7.2 per cent more than 2019. This has been a joint venture since 1 July 2020 and is no longer a subsidiary of Kesko.
