Five per cent rise in Polish DIY retail market

The DIY retail market in Poland rose by 5.2 per cent to a volume of PLN 49.4 bn last year. This figures was quoted in a study called "DIY Retail in Central and Eastern Europe 2016", carried out by the market research company PMR. The researchers expect a market growth to PLN 51.3 bn in 2016.
The market volume of the Hungarian DIY retail market is quoted as being HUF 266 bn in 2015. PMR also expect an increase of 2.5 per cent last year for Russia.
