Branch in Poland

The American engine manufacturer Briggs & Stratton has opened a branch in Poland. The office is located in the city of Slupsk, around 100 km west of Danzig. The new sales agency is intended to serve the Polish market at first, and other countries in eastern Europe later on. Its manager is Wojtek Jasinski, 35, who moved across from Rubbermaid on 1 April. As the company declares, its over-riding goal is to carefully target consumers and build up a strong brand awareness.
