Interior Lifestyle, a combination of Ambiente, Heimtextil and Home Design Japan, has been held in Tokyo with 518 exhibitors, or 60 per cent more than a year ago. The fair took place between 23 and 25 June and attracted the attendance of 20 339 buyers. According to information from the organisers, Messe Frankfurt, Japanese consumers are paying more and more attention to their homes, and will spend relatively large sums to achieve a pleasant living environment. The Japanese interior design market is estimated to be worth JPY 4 000 bn (€ 30 bn).
