A generational change is to take place at the helm of German DIY store chain Globus. Erich Huwer (68), who has been CEO of Globus DIY stores for many years, is retiring on 31 December.  He will be succeeded by his son Timo Huwer, who will assume the role of spokesperson for the management board. With gross sales of EUR 1.731 bn Globus is ranked sixth in the list of German home improvement store operators.
