Tulpik: lending across all sales channels

In Spain, a cross-divisional online platform for borrowing DIY equipment and tools will be starting in September this year under the name "Tulpik". The platform, based in Madrid, is targeted at DIY store operators as well as hardware stores. The borrowing process is as follows: customers select the required tool/equipment, enter the days on which they need it and state the DIY store from where they wish to collect it. According to information from the Spanish news platform Ferreteria y Bricolaje, DIY stores in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Girona, Guadalajara, Malaga, Sevilla, Cordoba, Tarragona, Teruel, Burgos and Alicante have already announced an interest in the system.
