Thomas Spichtig is the new CEO of Jumbo.

Thomas Spichtig is the new head of the Swiss DIY store chain Jumbo. He moved from Samsung Electronics in November where he had been active for four years. A corresponding report by the business newspaper Handelszeitung has been confirmed by the company.

In January 2019, the former CEO Jérôme Gilg had switched his executive's chair within the Maus Frères group to the department store chain Manor. Ivo Casutt, who had thereupon assumed the tasks of CEO at Jumbo for the interim period, is now active as COO again.
