Spoga+Gafa 2020 has been cacelled. From next year on, the leading trade fair for the garden and lifestyle industry will take place earlier.

Spoga+Gafa has been cancelled for this year and has been given a new, earlier date for the future. Next year, the leading global trade fair for the garden and lifestyle industry will take place from 30 May to 1 June 2021, at a time that is, according to Koelnmesse, more convenient for orders by large segments of the industry.

Koelnmesse decided to cancel the trade fair this year, "despite an almost fully booked overall area in the spring of 2020 and thus an excellent registration status," according to a letter to exhibitors and visitors. They explain that against the backdrop of current Covid-19 developments, the news about new cases of infection in Germany and the travel situation, in particular on an intercontinental level, a large majority of exhibitors and trade visitors had decided, in recent weeks, not to visit the Spoga+Gafa. The overall situation had thus been newly evaluated together with the advisory board.
