Leroy Merlin will open its first large-format DIY store in South Africa in 2018. The primary distribution line of the French organisation Groupe Adeo already has a foothold in the country; as well as operating an online shop there, its Campus by Leroy Merlin store has been in existence in Johannesburg since May 2017. The store has raised its profile by running workshops and seminars for DIY enthusiasts. Leroy Merlin's new store is already under construction.
