Edra general secretary John Herbert will once again interview the CEOs of home improvement retailers from across the globe in the next season of the Global DIY-Network.

The international industry associations Edra/Ghin and Hima are continuing their programme of lectures and interviews in the Global DIY-Network. The platform, launched a year ago to compensate for the cancellation of the Global DIY-Summit on account of the pandemic, launches its second season next week. On Monday 4 October 2021, Roz Bridges, business development manager at eBay, will talk to network moderator Ken Hughes about "Trading on eBay Marketplace". The first interview in the "Meet the CEO" series will be conducted by Edra general secretary John Herbert on 20 October 2021 with Damian McGloughlin, CEO of the UK's Homebase chain.

The list of upcoming speakers and discussion partners over the next few months features countless prominent names from the international home improvement sector. These include the CEOs of major retailers such as Mattias Ankarberg of Byggmax, Guy Colleau of Maxeda, Werner de Jager of Cashbuild, Thierry Garnier of Kingfisher, Yasunori Ishiguro of DCM, Yevgeniy Movchan of Petrovich, Andrea Scown of Mitre 10 (New Zealand) and Verónica Valdez of Promart.
