Sales in the French garden market were down by 14 per cent in July as compared with July 2020, when consumer shopping was influenced by the pandemic. The wet weather this year with little sunshine has not exactly encouraged activities in the garden, according to the interpretation of these figures by the manufacturers' association Promojardin. Compared with July 2019, however, the market has grown by 2 per cent.
