Eric Béchu switches from Leroy Merlin to the helm of Weldom

Weldom has a new boss. Eric Béchu has been CEO of the French DIY store chain since January. He has moved within the Adeo Group because he previously worked at Leroy Merlin for nine years, most recently as deputy chief executive officer. He began his career at the corporate consultancy Price Waterhouse Coopers. Weldom is a cooperative-independent retailer which has more than 200 locations (more than 20 of which are owned by Adeo) with retail spaces of between 1 000 m² and 4 000 m².
Béchus's predecessor Daniel Iriarte has gone into retirement, writes the French industry online service Zepros Habitat. He had been at the helm of Weldom for ten years.
