Domotex is postponed from January to May

The next edition of Domotex, which had been scheduled for January, has been postponed to May. Despite two thirds of the exhibition space of around 62 000 m² being booked, and a hygiene concept which enabled implementation compliant with coronavirus regulations, Deutsche Messe AG has decided to move the next Domotex, which had been scheduled for 15 to 18 January 2021 in Hanover, to 20 to 22  May 2021. The reasons for this lie in the current developments of the Covid-19 pandemic and the related desire of the clients, exhibitors and visitors to carry out the trade fair at a later date.
The trade fair for carpets and floor coverings in Hanover (Germany) will take place from Thursday up to and including Saturday as hybrid event - a physical trade fair, expanded with virtual elements. This makes it possible for visitors, who also won't be in a position to travel in May, to at least be able to take part digitally.
Domotex is planning a digital conference for 15 January 2021, the original date for the start of the trade fair. The key theme "Cover New Ground!" is intended to encourage the industry to discuss the effects of the "new normal in times of Covid-19" on carpets and floorings.
