Change at the helm of Praktiker Hellas

Praktiker Hellas has a new CEO after Ioannis Selalmazidis left the company after 25 years. His successor is Dimitris Galanis. Ioannis Selalmazidis retired from the organisation in January 2021, although he remains on the board of directors. New CEO Dimitris Galanis comes from electronics retailing. He was most recently chief commercial officer at Kotsovolos - Dix South East Europe. Praktiker Hellas is regarded as the number 1 in the DIY and home improvement industry in Greece with 17 outlets at present.
