Two events shape the 2/2019 edition of DIY International which is out now: the 30th birthday of the trade journal which was launched in 1989 - then as "DIY in Europe", and also the Global Home Improvement Summit in Dublin.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary, the editorial team, together with the statistics department at the Dähne Verlag publishing house who brings out the journal, created a ranking of the 30 largest DIY store operators in the world. And on the occasion of the summit in the Irish capital, the current edition includes a twelve-page exclusive country report on the DIY industry in Ireland and Great Britain, which offers a wealth of statistical material and analyses from the editorial team and external experts.
In addition, the regular sections again contain comprehensive information on the international DIY industry. For example the trade section reports on market developments in Italy and German-speaking countries. The manufacturing part focuses, among other things, on building and renovating.
