The German producers’ co-operative Landgard has reached its first milestones in its reorganisation under the "Nova" programme and is therefore moving on to the next phase, the co-operative announced in a press release.
Consequently, the role of Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) at Landgard is now changing, with the focus shifting further towards operational implementation. Against this backdrop, the Landgard Executive Board has redefined the CRO role; Dr Georg Hürth of the CRO boutique Hürth Management Partners GmbH will take on this new role. He will take over the CRO function from Dr Carsten Nagel on 1 September. Nagel will continue to be available to Landgard in an advisory capacity, explains Christoph Klöpper, a member of the Executive Board of Landgard eG.
With this change, Landgard aims to further expand its implementation expertise within its own ranks. Under the leadership of Karsten Hemmer, the Project Management Office now oversees all Nova sub-projects. Since 1 August, Oliever Hecht, an experienced logistics specialist, has been responsible – as Managing Director of Fresh Logistics System GmbH alongside Stefan Streuer and as an authorised signatory at Landgard Blumen & Pflanzen – for the implementation of the supply chain management and logistics sub-projects. Kai Bröcker, a sales expert, has been driving forward the transformation in the specialist retail sector since November last year.
