Board member Urszula Nartowska has left the German DIY group Obi “at her own request and by mutual agreement”. With this statement, Obi has confirmed a report to that effect in the trade journal “Lebensmittelzeitung”. The move took place in mid-June.
Nartowska was a member of the Executive Board in her role as Chief People and Organisational Development Officer, and also served as Senior Vice President, Legal. The company explains that her areas of responsibility have been redistributed amongst the other existing Executive Board portfolios. As a result, the Executive Board has been reduced to three members: Sebastian Gundel (CEO), Jochen Ludwig (CCO) and Miguel Müllenbach (DFO).
