Light + Building with around 2,000 exhibitors

From 8 to 13 March, Light + Building invites the lighting and building technology industry to Frankfurt. Around 2,000 exhibitors will be attending this year, according to the organisers. The proportion of foreign exhibitors is 75 per cent. Apart from Germany, China, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Austria and the United Kingdom are the most strongly represented exhibiting nations.

"Light + Building is the place where the central needs of the industry become visible – from the interplay of energy-efficient technology, digital networking and lighting in all its facets to solutions for high construction and energy costs, skilled labour shortages and renovation pressure," emphasises Steffen Larbig, Head of Brand Management at Light + Building.

The exhibition grounds are divided into the East Exhibition Grounds, which exclusively comprise lighting exhibitors, and the West Exhibition Grounds, where, in addition to lighting, exhibitors from the fields of electrical engineering and home and building automation are also represented. Around 60 per cent of exhibitors are in the lighting sector and around 40 per cent in the building sector.
