New digital expert at Bosch Power Tools

Dr Eva Gerstmeier will take over the position of Business Chief Digital Officer (BCDO) at Bosch Power Tools on 1 February 2026. She succeeds Anja Unglaub, who is taking on a new management role within the Bosch Group.

With Gerstmeier, an experienced manager and digital expert from within the company's own ranks is taking over the management of the global digital organisation at Bosch Power Tools. Most recently, she spent five years as Business Chief Digital Officer for the Bosch Home Comfort Group.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the business unit's global digital agenda. In addition to expanding digital ecosystems for users and trading partners, this includes, in particular, designing a future-proof IT landscape. Its data structures and processes will form the foundation for scalable automation and the widespread use of AI.
