A total of 14 joint stands from 13 countries will be presented at IPM 2026, which will take place from January 27 to 30, 2026, at Messe Essen. International joint stands are an integral part of IPM in Essen: they bring together exhibitors from a country or region in one place, making it easier to compare product ranges and solutions and creating space for discussions about trends, markets, and collaborations. The stands are distributed across the exhibition halls as follows.

Belgium is bringing 33 exhibitors to Essen this year. They are represented in Halls 2, 6, and 8. The product range extends from green and flowering pot plants to perennials and woody plants to climate-resistant plants and trees. Belgium is also highlighting sustainable approaches, including resistant varieties, alternative substrates, precise use of resources, and integrated plant protection.

The Chinese presentation in Halls 1 and 6 will include young plants from plant tissue culture, potted plants, horticultural accessories, fertilizers, tools, and irrigation equipment. Ten exhibitors from various regions of the People's Republic are participating.

Seven companies will be presenting themselves at the 50-square-meter Costa Rican joint stand in Hall 1. A wide range of indoor plants will be on display. The focus is on innovative and technological production processes.

The Danish joint stand by Floradania in Hall 6 features 27 co-exhibitors; in addition, six other nurseries and distribution companies from the Scandinavian country are presenting themselves with their own stands in the surrounding area. Green and flowering plants are on display. The focus is on a presentation of the Danish ornamental plant sector's product range.

France will be presenting itself under the label “Choose France” in Halls 2 and 7. While the focus in Hall 2 will be on variety and breeding innovations as well as young plants, the focus in Hall 7 will be on nursery solutions; the range will be complemented by containers and logistics services.

Royal Flora Holland will be represented in Hall 1 in 2026 – with its own stand and the new “Product Square” presentation area. In addition, the “Product Plaza” invites visitors to take a look at a wide range of flowers and plants. The second Dutch joint stand is located in Hall 8 and is organized by BIZZ Holland. Around 40 companies and 14 brands will be presenting themselves there, showcasing the breadth of the Dutch nursery and ornamental plant industry. As part of the “Show Your Colors Garden Center,” concept tables with accompanying sales promotion materials will be presented in a garden center environment.

The Polish joint stand is organized by the Association of Polish Nurseries (ZSzP) together with Agencja Promocji Zieleni and is located in Hall 6. The range of products on offer extends from propagation material and young plants to larger container plants and outdoor plants. The stand will also feature specialist publications, including the English-language “Catalogue of Proven Plants” and a 2026 nursery catalog with basic information on member companies (product ranges, company sizes, contacts).

The Spanish pavilion in Hall 6 is organized by the FEPEX association. Twenty-seven companies from the affiliated trade associations are participating. All exhibiting companies specialize in the production and export of ornamental plants.

Twenty companies are participating in the Turkish joint stand in Hall 6. Ornamental plants for outdoor use, trees and shrubs, and planters will be on display. Turkey currently cites plants with low water consumption, drought-resistant landscaping, and the marketing of native species as key trends.

The United Kingdom's joint stand is organized by the Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA), with ten companies presenting their products in Hall 7. The range extends from plants and young plants to reusable planters, labels, design and planning expertise, and greenhouse and polytunnel solutions. Important trends in the UK include climate-adapted and water-saving planting, more perennials and easy-care ornamental plants, biodiversity-promoting planting concepts, and solutions for small areas.

Other countries are presenting themselves at joint stands: Israel (Hishtil Afula) in Hall 2, Portugal (Portugal Fresh) in Hall 6, and the USA (SUSTA) in Hall 2.
