Sánchez moves from Brazil to Leroy Merlin Italy

Leroy Merlin Italia has a new boss. Ignacio Sánchez Villares is moving within the Adeo Group from Leroy Merlin Brazil to Italy as managing director, reports the Italian industry service diyandgarden.com. Sánchez joined Leroy Merlin in Spain in 1993, later becoming managing director of Akí as well, and helped shape the merger of the two chains in 2018. He moved to the top job in Brazil in 2020.
