The development of sales at HomePro, the Thai home improvement retailer, was characterised in the third quarter by partly contradictory influences: on the one hand, the unusually heavy and frequent rainfall during this year's rainy season, which also led to flooding, impacted customer footfall. On the other hand, the relaxed Covid measures and the resumption of tourism have led to a revival in business. HomePro's high growth of 20.70 per cent in retail sales in the third quarter compared to the same period last year is also explained by the Covid restrictions a year ago, when stores were partially closed. In total, sales amounted to THB 15.89657 bn (EUR 420.32 mio). The company ended the first nine months with retail sales up 8.11 per cent year-on-year to THB 47.97611 bn (EUR 1.26854 bn).

As of 1 July 2022, the Mega Home division was merged with HomePro. Previously, there were two separate management teams. In addition to efficiency and cost benefits, this is also expected to result in advantages for customers, who will be able to combine products and services from both sales divisions.
