Tesco sells Dobbies Garden Centres to an investor group

The British supermarket chain Tesco is selling its Dobbies Garden Centres business to an investor group led by Midlothian Capital Partners and Hattington Capital. The sale represents the entire share capital of Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. Tesco will receive GBP 217 mio.
Dobbies has belonged to Tesco since 2007. It is now considered to be the second-biggest garden centre chain in Great Britain, operating 35 stores.
