In the third quarter of 2004 the French DIY retailer Bricorama succeeded in increasing its sales in Belgium and the Netherlands by 11.08 per cent over the corresponding period last year to € 161.44 mio, according to a report in the latest issue of the Belgian trade magazine Publimat News. In the Netherlands Bricorama realised a sales increase of 11.1 per cent for a total of € 47.28 mio with its 18 Karwei outlets, and the 36 Gamma stores in Belgium made € 132.74 mio, which amounts to growth of 14.3 per cent over the same period last year. In the first nine months of the year sales in the Netherlands and Belgium were up by 8.3 per cent to € 460.66 mio.
