Outstanding results

Home Depot has completed the third quarter with sales increased by 13.1 per cent over the same period last year to US $ 18.772 bn (€ 14.445 bn). Growth of comparable store sales came to 4.5 per cent. Net earnings in this period went up by 14.8 per cent to US $ 1.317 bn (€ 1.013 bn). Sales achieved in the services business rose by 26 per cent to US $ 957 mio (€ 736.25 mio), and the average store spend increased by 6.6 per cent to US $ 55.53 (€ 41.182). For the first nine months the company reports a sales increase of 13.3 per cent to US $ 56.282 bn (€ 43.307 bn). Earnings grew by 18.1 per cent to US $ 3.960 bn (€ 3.047 bn) over the same period.
