The Light India International trade fair will be staged in September. It is estimated that the rates of growth in the sector will be in the two-figure area

Next year an exhibition for lamps, lighting and accessories will be held in India for the fifth time. The Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) will be staging Light India International (LII) in New Delhi from 9 to12 September 2005. They mention a figure of US $ 700 (€ 540 mio) for the volume of the sector in India. Some ten per cent of the total goes on imports. According to the estimates, the growth rates are positioned in the two-figure area. LII was held for the last time in the year 2002, when 10 000 trade visitors registered for the event. The exhibitor figures have so far ranged between 130 and 150.
