Feeble ray of light

The UK lighting market has recorded growth of around three per cent over the past three years. According to estimates from AM Research, the volume in 2003 amounted to £ 1.28 bn (€ 1.89 bn). The biggest share of this went to light fittings at 71 per cent. The market researchers are forecasting an increase of 13.2 per cent to £ 1.447 bn (€ 2.14 bn) for this market by the year 2007.
