Relatively major projects are carried out in the garden

The Brits tackle a pretty high proportion of relatively major projects in their gardens. This is the conclusion reached by the Focus Wickes Gardening Monitor, based on a survey undertaken by market researchers Verdict. According to this, 8.9 per cent claimed either to have completely changed the layout of their garden in the preceding three months or to be planning to do so over the next three months at the time of the survey in March. What is more, 9.5 per cent of respondents had constructed a garden pond and 11.1 per cent had bought new garden furniture.
