Withdrawal from Britain

Bosch is withdrawing from certain product segments in Britain. It appears that these are articles with short production runs that were predominantly marketed in Britain alone. As Volker Pruschke, head of the garden tools product category, said at a press conference in the run-up to Gafa, “Our business in Britain is currently involved in a difficult structural reorganisation, which last year led to losses of market share based on a high starting level.”
