Black & Decker concludes the first six months with growth of almost 18 per cent

The American tool manufacturer Black & Decker has recorded sales of US $ 2.391 bn (€ 1.966 bn) over the first half year, which means it sold 17.8 per cent more than in the comparable period last year. The group also notched up double-digit sales growth in the consumer market in the second quarter, especially with lasers, cordless drills, and lawn and garden products. The company has disclosed growth rates of ten per cent in the DIY and home improvement segment.
