Rona to introduce new concept

The Canadian distributor and retailer of hardware, renovation and gardening products has introduced a new home improvement concept in Prince Albert. The Home Centre, which is scheduled to open in September, combines neighbourhood store and big box elements with building supplies for contractors as well. Integrated into the store will be a number of “boutiques” that are specially targeted at private customers. They will present a variety of different product categories such as paint, flooring, windows and doors, and lighting. The new outlet will have around 4 800 m² of retail space, plus a lumberyard of around 9 000 m².
