Takeover in North America

Black & Decker is buying the Tools Group from Pentair at a purchase price of around US $ 775 mio (€ 632 mio). The Tools Group achieved sales of approximately US $ 1.08 bn (€ 880 mio) in 2003. This group includes the companies Porter-Cable, Delta, DeVilbiss Air Power, Oldham Saw and Flex, all of which concentrate on the market for professional power tools in North America.
