The results from March to June show the DIY retail group to be five per cent up on the comparable numbers for 2003
Homebase, the UK DIY chain, increased sales by five per cent over the months of March to June inclusive. In like-for-like terms the company, which is part of the Argos retail group that belongs in turn to the GUS retail and business services group, achieved sales three per cent up on the same period last year. The total number of stores came to 281 at 30 June.
