New Gardena boss

The new head of Gardena is to be Martin Bertinchamp, 45. The supervisory board of the German garden equipment manufacturing company has appointed him to the position of chief executive officer. Bertinchamp comes from Metabo, where he has worked in the same capacity since 1996. At company headquarters in Ulm he will be the successor to Dr Wolfgang Jahrreis, who departed from Gardena on 1 February 2004.
