Click and Done

Easy to install, durable, and appealing: At the Global DIY Summit 2026, Unilin is highlighting its click systems and matching accessories.

2026 marks the second year that Unilin is participating in the Global DIY Summit. At this year’s event, the company presents itself with a unified brand identity, bringing together its "Flooring" and "Technologies" divisions at a shared booth.

Unilin Flooring aims to expand its global reputation through brands such as Quick-Step, Moduleo, and Pergo. The company sees itself as synonymous with design, durability, and easy installation, and as a key player in the markets for parquet, laminate, and resilient flooring.

In addition, Unilin Technologies highlights its licensing model. The company reports that it has earned widespread recognition through the introduction of the Uniclic, Unidrop, and Unipush click systems, and now considers itself a market leader in laminate and resilient click systems as well as flooring technologies. The success of the click systems is attributed to their careful design, solid quality, and the expertise of the engineers.

These click technologies, which remain at the heart of Unilin’s value proposition, are the focus of the trade show experience. The system, originally introduced under the Quick-Step brand, was the world’s first one-piece click system, the manufacturer reports – "a breakthrough that shaped the modern flooring industry and continues to influence product development today."

At this year’s summit, Unilin is going beyond installation systems to present a broader portfolio of solutions. Technologies like Unicoat give floors water-repellent characteristics. The company knows this meets a key demand of today’s DIY market. The edge coating acts as a sealed barrier between the floorboards, preventing water from penetrating and thus avoiding common problems such as swelling and mold growth.

"The finishing touches are just as important," Unilin is certain. The range of accessories—from stair nosing profiles to clickable baseboards and profiles—is manufactured directly from the original floor plank. The result is a perfectly coordinated look, where the flooring and its accessories feature exactly the same texture, scratch resistance, pattern, and color, explains the flooring expert.

Visitors to the Global DIY Summit can experience these innovations from June 16 to 18 at Booth A14 in the RAI Amsterdam.
