Ultra-strong bond Tesa is expanding its range of high-grade mounting tapes with the launch of Tesa Powerbond Ultra Strong. This new entry is the strongest Tesa mounting tape of all time to be found within the consumer product range. With a holding power of 100 kg per metre it allows for the easy fixing of such items as slim wardrobes, two-way intercoms and letterboxes, both indoors and out – without tools, nails, dowels or screws. The product is available in three versions. In addition to two rolls of 19 mm tape either 1.5 m or 5 m long, retail partners can also offer customers small, ready-cut mounting pads measuring 6 cm x 2 cm. www.tesa.comNo-drill bathroom hooks The bathroom hooks in Tesa’s new Powerbutton range provide an especially strong hold and can be attached without using either drill, dowels or screws. Easy to fix, and to remove as well if necessary – without causing any damage to tiles or natural stone. Initially available in eleven versions, these high-grade hooks are made of chrome-plated material and stainless steel and can support items of up to 12 kg in weight, thanks to the use of clever adhesion technology. The adhesive tape manufacturer already offers a comparable principle in the form of the patented Tesa Powerstrips, which are now even available in a waterproof version.
