The next Euroshop, due to be held in Düsseldorf from 23 to 27 February 2002, is for the first time being divided into the following four sections: Euroconcept (shop construction, shop fittings, lighting technology, freezer units, refrigeration plant, mechanical and electrical services); Eurosales (window dressing, sales promotion, POS marketing); Eurocis (communication, information and security technology); and Euroexpo (exhibition construction, design, events).
Registration has been received from about 1 600 exhibitors of 40 different nationalities. The exhibition space has been extended to 100 000 ²2 by the addition of two more halls. The peripheral programme includes a day for architects and designers, which is being organised by the Eurohandelsinstitut (EHI) on 23 February, and, for the first time, a POS marketing congress running from 25 to 27 February.
