Relaunch of deco-rating products
The Dupli-Color brand spray paints will in future be presented in a newly designed format. The widely diversified range has been clearly structured by means of a colour coding system. The new layout demonstrates possible applications for the spray paints, putting the spotlight on the advantages that these products can offer. The explanatory text has been reworked to provide more information and the inclusion of pictograms makes for quicker customer orientation at the POS.

New colour blends
The demand for warm and natural colours and shades of white has inspired Sigma Coatings to develop its Histor Endura wall paint in five thematic colourways, which include a total of seventeen coordinated individual hues in addition to white. What is more, the company has also created the possibility of producing eight extremely delicate shades of nearly white, which can be mixed from just one basic wall paint using the Histor paint tinting system.

Painting without sanding
A new primer called ESP or Easy Surface Prep offers possibilities for painting previously “unpaintable” surfaces like melamine, ceramic tiles, U-PVC, aluminium and old glossy doors, etc., without first having to sand the surface down. The distributors claim that in many instances it is also possible to apply paint without any further undercoating. The surface can be painted with any oil or water based paint only 90 minutes after coating with ESP.

Colourless wood glaze
“Bondex Farblos für außen” has been developed by Dyrup as a colourless wood glaze for do-it-yourself applications out of doors. A coating of this neutral glaze makes it possible to preserve the natural colouring of the wood in wooden chalets, balcony railings, fences and garden furniture, and to highlight its natural grain. A special UV blocker protects the wood from turning grey without the addition of colour pigments. Water-repellent components increase the product’s weather resistance.

Five-star white
The new “WandWeiß” range of white interior paint from Glasurit includes three different products: WandWeiß PremiumPlus, WandWeiß Superior and WandWeiß Universal.
