The Wesfarmers Group in Australia, which also includes DIY market leader Bunnings, has acquired the online retailer Catch Group. This company operates an online business model offering branded products on a first-party basis and a third-party marketplace. It will continue to work as an independent business unit, but now under the oversight of Ian Bailey, managing director of Kmart Group.
